Sales Engineer

Are you technically minded and do you currently work in a technical or field service role?

If you are looking for the next step in your career and want to move to a more commercial role then this role will suit you.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Sales & Marketing team.

To support the delivery of sales goals through enabling customers and prospective customer to understand our products and services. Working closely with engineering to understand customers’ needs, identify solutions and provide technical support. There are 3 main areas of accountability; Business Planning, Managing the Sales Pipeline and Managing the Sales Process.

· Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical role ideally with customer interaction.

· There will be a need to travel to support customer requirements.

· Practical experience in the field of scientific equipment would be an advantage.

Manual Machinist

Responsible for operating manual milling/turning machines to produce high quality components to tight tolerances for use in UHV precision assemblies.

· Must have the ability to read technical drawings to set and operate manual milling/turning machines with Proto Track type controls and measure critical features using a range of metrology equipment.

· The ability to programme using Alpha Cam would be an advantage.

· Proven track record of understanding how to use machines and problems associated with machining different shapes and sizes of components.

· You must understand the requirements of On Time Delivery both internally and externally and have the ability to prioritise projects to achieve targets without compromising on quality.

· Minimum of 3 years experience of manual machining in a production environment

Apprentice - Manual Machining

We are looking for an apprentice to join the company in our machining centre. They will need to attend college and complete an accredited Engineering course.

· Applicants will need to have a minimum of 4 GCSE’s including English, Maths and a Science related subject.
