The Mechanical Hand series of wobble stick is designed for tactile operation of sample handling within the chamber vessel. Uniquely the mechanical hand also provides 360° continuous rotation, as well as linear motion. The device can be used for the movement, re-arrangement and transfer of samples, STM tip changes, or as an in-vacuum screw driver. Ideally located at the interchanges of a vacuum system, the MH provides linear travel 80-280mm and ±22° angular movement. Interchangeable jaw assemblies can be purchased separately or with the transfer device.
