Differentially Pumped Rotary Feedthroughs

Ultra High Vacuum Instrument Rotation

Differentially pumped rotary feedthroughs are available in coarse, manual high precision and motorised high precision options. Mounted on 70mm, 114mm and 152mm OD base flanges, we offer a DPRF to suit each of our sample manipulators. The DPRF allows for instrumentation such as a cryostat or cold finger to be inserted and continuously rotated within the vacuum chamber without effect on the ambient chamber pressure. This module removes the risk of wiring becoming entangled or damaged during rotation.

DPRFs and Rotary Platforms should be connected to the system or stand alone pump, and should be pumped all the time the system is being pumped.

Differentially Pumped Rotary Feedthrough
The DPRF25 is a single stage differentially pumped rotary feedthrough which comes in a variety of actuations with encoded stepper motor options available. The 25mm clear bore is our smallest design and can be fitted onto the Miniax or HPT manipulators.

RP100

Rotary Platform
The RP100 Rotary Platform is a dual stage differentially pumped rotary feedthrough with a low profile design. The RP100 was primarily designed for use with the Omniax Widebore Manipulator to provide 100mm clear bore into the vacuum vessel.
