LDS Linear Drives

Precision UHV Linear Drives

UHV Linear Drives can be used for a range of applications requiring small distance travel such as moving electron optics nearer to a loaded sample. The LDS are our most popular range of linear drives and offer 20μm resolution and repeatability. Available in 2 conflat flange sizes, 34mm and 70mm OD. The product range utilise high quality edge-welded bellows and have a linear motion range from 25mm to 150mm which can be fully motorised with encoder and limits.

Mircometer Linear Drive
LDM Micrometer range of linear drives are fitted with Mitutoyo 5µm resolution micrometres and are designed for extremely precise applications. Travel lengths 25-50mm.

LDP

Push Pull Linear Drive
LDP is a coarse push-pull style of linear drive and is operated by hand. These are suitable for applications such as scribing on the surface of a sample. Travel lengths 25-150mm.

Pneumatic Linear Drive
LDP-P is a pneumatically operated linear drive for use in UHV environments, where speed and reliability are of high importance. Travel lengths 25-100mm.
