Sample Holders

Sample Interface

Sample holders are the interface between the sample and the manipulator. Attached to the tip of the rotary drive, the connection provides primary and azimuthal movement to the sample holder. Services such as liquid nitrogen cooling and heating are also connected to the sample holder when fully configured. Different sample holders are available with different functionality, including primary and secondary rotation, non-magnetic and up to 50mm E offset of the sample.
