RD91 Primary Rotary Drive

Bellows Sealed UHV Rotary Drive

The ZRD91 is a high precision rotary drive mounted on a 34mm OD CF flange and provides a high speed, low torque option for rotary motion in the chamber. The graduated handwheel provides 1° angular resolution, which can be improved to 0.18° with an inline stepper motor fitted. The drive is fully bakeable to 250°C with the motors removed. A slipping brake can also be retrofitted to the drive, to prevent off axis loads from rotating. This is ideal when fitted to the RLRP.
