High precision Rack & Pinion linear travel with optional rotation, with both axis controlled by rotatory drives. The LRP series offers linear only, where rotation is not required, or the RLRP series which offers an independent 360° rotation shaft, for transferring samples with greater accuracy then the MLD/R series. These use UHV accepted metals within its construction. The probes have a front bearing housing supporting the shaft, which offers higher accuracy over the MLRV probe for repeatability tasks. On the RLRP series, the independent rotation shaft also gives greater accuracy during transfer, and/or allows for a latching action with the appropriate pickup.
